Over the moon in LOVE!
Cayel is absolutely, positively, obsessively, compulsively, in LOVE with his cousins! I mean over the moon, bouncing off the walls, giddy from head to toe in love with them! And thankfully, those cousins of his, patiently tolerate his love for them.

A little glimpse...
...of our week at a beautiful all inclusive, adults only resort in Playa del Carmen!

I had every great intention of posting and uploading pictures to share daily while we were on vacation but the internet connection in Mexico was a tad bit, um, slow and to be honest, I was too busy laying on the beach and by the pool, sipping frozen fruity drinks.
So here we are, back from a warm tropical location to the bitterly cold, still snow laden Black Hills that we left over a week ago and I am finally getting around to sharing a glimpse of our week. I mean now that our suitcases are unpacked, the traces of sand are vacuumed up, the 11 loads of laundry are done (and still sitting neatly folded on the table patiently waiting to be put away) and Cayel has gotten our undivided attention for a few days.
It was a marvelous week filled with lots of favorites...
...ahhh the sunshine, the warm sunshine,
...the soft white sand,

...the ocean, the breath taking turquoise ocean,

...the 85 degree weather,
...the food - no cooking, no dishes,

...the pool (which I called home for most of the week),

...the sunsets, the sunrises...oh wait, I guess we didn't see those, we slept in, ahh the sleeping in, the naps,
...walking barefoot and wearing flip flops so I could admire my pretty toes,

...the snorkeling,
...the animals (some real, some not :),

...the amazing and endless hospitality,

...the beautiful culture,

...the quality time with my hubby (best part of the whole trip for me!),

...the memories made with dear dear friends,

It really was a beautifully relaxing and connecting week. I feel so truly blessed to have gotten the chance to have my husband all to myself for an entire week. I never thought I could fall in love with him anymore than I already had but to be honest, I kind of did. And the time with our friends was priceless. So much laughter and conversation and memories that we will cherish for a lifetime.
